A charity celebrates its 20th anniversary in Tottenham this weekend.
Embrace UK, which works to help refugees and asylum seekers by providing advice on housing, health, and welfare benefits, will hold a “family fun day” at the Selby Centre, in Selby Road, Tottenham, this Saturday from 11am.
Alem Gebrehiwot, the executive director of Embrace UK, said: "We are celebrating our achievement and 20 years of delivering service to the community regardless of the current economic environment.
“The day is going to be a really fun day, so people should come down and celebrate with us. There will be face-painting, bouncy castles, health workshops for adults, live music from the Mark Kirk Jazz Band and others, and lots to eat and drink."
