A motorcyclist has been treated for serious leg injuries after a crash and rushed to a major trauma centre.

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called at 5.16pm yesterday (April 29) to reports of a crash on Bowes Road, Arnos Grove, in Enfield.

“We treated a patient at the scene for serious leg injuries and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority," a LAS spokesperson said.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed a motorcycle and car were involved in the collision which saw the motorcyclist rushed to hospital.

His injuries were assessed as non life-threatening, a Met Police spokesperson said.

The LAS urgently dispatched its teams to deal with the incident and promptly took the injured rider to hospital.

“We sent two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer to the scene.

“The first paramedic arrived in less than three minutes," the spokesperson added.
