HARRELL, Rose Minnie (Rita) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Minnie Harrell, Rita as she was known to most. She died on 2nd September 2013 at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford of old age and will be missed by all that knew her. Rita lived and worked in Enfield, but for the past 6 years moved to Wantage, Oxfordshire. She had reached the grand age of 93 and lived a full life participating in as many activities as her body would allow. Her husband John Harrell passed away some 50 years before Rita. Rita worked hard during her career as a Senior School Meals Supervisory Assistant (dinner lady), a job she loved as it bought her into contact with children who loved her in return. Her always positive attitude is a model to us all on how to take whatever life throws at you and enjoy it. She will be cremated at the West Berkshire Crematorium on 19th September at 2:15pm. All are welcome.
