BAINS Lawrence Arthur CBE DL previously of Muswell Hill and Arkley, Barnet, on 5th December 2015 aged 95. Beloved husband of Margaret, father of William, Rosemary and Geoffrey, grandfather to six. Former Mayor of Hornsey, Chairman of Greater London Council, Chair of Haringey Health Authority, member of Lloyds of London. Funeral at New Southgate Crematorium N11 1JJ on 22nd December, arriving at 12.30pm. Family flowers only, donations to Red Cross. Enquiries to Churchills (020 8440 1413)
