Volunteers are being sought to help run a Christmas Day party for those who might usually spend the festive season alone.
Organisers are holding the Christmas lunch and party at the Union Church and Community Centre in Ferme Park Road, Crouch End.
The day’s event will be for about 100 people of all ages who would otherwise be by themselves on Christmas Day -but the event needs more volunteers.
Organisers say they need more people to help with cooking, serving food and drink and caring for the guests.
The event will start at 11:30am after the church's morning service, with coffee and biscuits followed by a Christmas dinner.
After pudding, guests will be able to enjoy bingo, sing Christmas carols and play party games.
Those who are able to spare a couple of hours on Christmas Day and help can contact 020 8341 3918.
