Children will have their imaginations challenged when they create their own mythical creature.
An art and crafts session will be held at Stroud Green & Harringay Library next Thursday from 2pm to 3.30pm. It is being held in connection with the Summer Reading Challenge, a national reading scheme organised by The Reading Agency, which encourages children to read throughout the summer.
Branch manager Sara Khan said: “We want to encourage their imaginations, and challenge them.
“They have to create a new character. Every summer we try to organise these sessions.”
More than 100 children in the area have signed up for the challenge so far.
