This Week St Francis de Sales School Council invited St Francis de Sales Church Older People’s Luncheon to join school children at lunch time. The event was an amazing success with the children and older people chatting away! Amelia was amazed to discover that a pint of milk was 1p when Mary was a little girl.
Sebastian enjoyed eating his dinner with older people. Jenny had a particular taste for cheese and biscuits and had seconds!
St Francis de Sales School Council want to make sure these luncheon clubs are a regular feature and want to meet with other school councils in Tottenham to look at how we can encourage more older people and young people luncheon clubs.
The young people will be interviewing the older people next week so look out for our blog next week.
