A martial arts academy gave a demonstration to a bank to launch its new foundation.
Youth committee members of the Spartan Youth Foundation attended a business networking session at Metro bank, in Wood Green, last week to demonstrate their talents.
Members showed off moves from art form Wing Chun Kung Fu in front of businessmen, customers and staff, and later paid the first deposit into the foundation’s account.
Chris Dexiades, the bank’s business manager, said: “It was fantastic to see young people so committed and focused on their art, they demonstrated with so much passion.”
The new foundation, part of the SAS Martial Arts Academy, will provide courses and activities for young people that will contribute to their personal and social development and has been funded through a number of fundraisers and donation from Academy members.
