Tottenham University “The Best”
St Francis de Sales school has been working with St Pauls and All Hallows Church of England School to develop Tottenham University project. A group of our students are working to complete a set of challenges we set them including reading challenging books at home and visiting museums in and around London.
We decided to interview three of our Tottenham University Students :
Oliva , Joceline and Mario from 4B St Francis de Sales school
What is Tottenham University?
Joceline said” Tottenham University is the best University in London because we got to meet real students in Oxford University and learn about what we need to do to go to University”
What have you enjoyed about Tottenham University?
Mario said” I enjoyed the theatre it was great to see the play The Curious Incident of the dog in the night in the West End I liked it we had great seats “
How did you get selected?
Mario said “Because I got some good results in lots of different subjects”
Can you tell us about your visit to Oxford University?
Oliva said “ It was very encouraging I enjoyed the history I liked Christchurch college and Lewis Carol , who wrote Alice in Wonderland was a teachers at the college and he taught maths” Wadham College was great with great area for students.
Has Tottenham University helped you in your studies at school?
Joceline said” Yes it has encouraged us to work hard” Oliva said “We aimed high and work hard and want to accomplish and go to a college like Oxford University” Mario said “ Yes because at Christchurch college we learnt about the history of
Would you recommend Tottenham University to other students?
Mario said “Yes , it would help them with their education” Olivia said” Tottenham University could help them to improve their English and learn a lot from visiting interesting places” Joceline said “ If someone was not very good at a subject it could help them work harder at school”
The students are due to Graduate on the 8th of July 2015 at Tottenham Town Hall and the Mayor of Tottenham will be presenting certificates. The children will have an opportunity to share their experiences with their families and teachers.
