TGIM “Thank Goodness it’s Monday”.
St Francis de Sales school has started the new term with a huge level of enthusiasm from everyone. Dr Lane, our Head teacher, talked about TGIM “Thank Goodness it’s Monday”at our staff meetings and school assembly.
The children and staff (and parents and carers) are so excited about the start of school and they have hit the ground running. St Francis de Sales has already elected the School Council after individual class elections. The School Council ensure we consult and listen to our children about key decisions.
The School Council will be helping to design the art and photograph display in the front area of the school. This will be an opportunity for the school to showcase our exciting visitors which have included Sir Quentin Blake, Michael Rosen and The Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan Howe.
St Francis de Sales is very excited and is planning the visit of Cardinal Nichols to St Francis de Sales and the School Council are very excited as they plan meeting Cardinal Nichols.
Over the year we will be telling you about all the exciting things we are doing in schools in Tottenham.
