Man found dead in home after police called to concerns for resident
A man has been found dead in a home after police were called to concerns for a resident.
Officers attended the home in Stanley Road, Edmonton, at approximately 4pm yesterday.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was found dead.
The Met Police initially said he was found in Stanley Road in Enfield, before later confirming it was the road's namesake in Edmonton.
Met Police officers are working to identify the man and inform his next of kin.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
A woman has been arrested and a crime scene is now in place.
The man and woman were believed to have been known to each other.
Officers from Specialist Crime have been informed and enquiries continue.
