A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in Edmonton.
Officers were called at around 4pm yesterday (Tuesday) to Stanley Road where a man, believed to be in his 40s, was found dead.
The Met Police initially said it was Stanley Road in Enfield, before later confirming it was its namesake in Edmonton.
A woman was arrested and the Met Police has today confirmed it was on suspicion of murder.
She remains in custody at this time, a spokesperson said.
Police previously said the man and woman were believed to be known to each other.
Met Police officers are working to identify the man and inform his next of kin.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
Officers from Specialist Crime have been informed and enquiries continue.
