Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters have tackled a fire in a waste sorting centre.
The fire broke out on Ardra Road in Edmonton on Saturday morning.
Half of a single-storey recycling unit containing waste sorting equipment and around five thousand tonnes of household waste was damaged by the fire.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The brigade was called at 7:09am and the fire was under control by 11:48am.
Fire crews from Edmonton, Tottenham, Chingford, Enfield and surrounding fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
