A company that developers, builds and supplies maritime navigation, surveillance and security radar systems received a visit from an MP earlier this month.
Hensoldt UK, which has a unit in Mollison Avenue, welcomed Enfield North Feyral Clark.
Ms Clark was taken on a tour of Hensoldt's facility by managing director David Millard, Tony Taylor, who is head of naval and surveillance, and head of HR, Margaret Bundy.
The MP, who was joined by Southbury councillor Ayten Guzel, was given an insight into the high-tech job opportunities Hensoldt provides to residents in the area.
Ms Clark was also shown a range of products and technology Hensoldt, which dates back 250 years, manufactures.
Following her visit, the Enfield North MP said: "It was a pleasure to meet the team at Hensoldt, and learn more about the technology they produce and the jobs they provide to our local community here in Enfield North.
"We discussed a range of ways, including developing an apprenticeship scheme, that Hensoldt can continue to support local people, and I look forward to working with them going forward."
Mr Millard added: "I was pleased to welcome Feryal Clark and Ayten Guzel to Hensoldt UK to continue to forge the links in the community that are so important to our achieving a sustainable business."
