A 52-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after she was found with "slash" injuries early this morning (February 1).
The emergency services were called to reports of an assault in Tottenham High Road at 6.39am.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police attended and found an injured woman.
She was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. Police say her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Met added a machete has been recovered but at this stage, no arrests have been made.
A crime scene remains in place with a heavy police presence near the B&M store, according to locals in the area.
