A man has admitted having extreme pornographic material of children as well as images of women being raped.
Diego Chiappin, of Winton Avenue near Bounds Green, had category A, B and C images of children with a view to distributing or showing them to others between December 1, 2020, and February 8 this year.
The 35-year-old also had extreme images of women being raped “in an explicit and realistic way”, and bestiality images involving a live dog.
Court documents described the animal pictures as “grossly offensive, disgusting and or otherwise of an obscene character”.
“A reasonable person looking at the image would think that any such person or animal was real,” they added.
Chiappin gave an indicated plea of guilty to all charges at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on February 8.
He has been kept in custody ahead of sentencing at Wood Green Crown Court as the magistrates had “substantial grounds” to believe further offences “very extreme in nature” would be committed.
