Two people are due to appear in court charged with the murder of Susan Ioannou.
Deka Omar, 23, of no fixed address and Philip Sherwin, 60, of South Eastern Avenue in Edmonton, were charged on Saturday (February 26).
They will both appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Police were called last Monday (February 21) at 8.32pm that a woman, 58, was found with injuries at a property on Church Street in Edmonton.
After officers attended, the woman was identified as Susan Ioannou and pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A post-mortem examination carried out last Tuesday was unable to determine her cause of death. Further enquiries are ongoing.
