Drivers may face disruption to their journeys due to some temporary road closures for roadworks in and around Enfield, starting this week.
The extent of the closures for utility works is detailed in notices from Enfield Council in this week’s edition of the Enfield and Haringey Independent.
Oxford Road EN3 is set to be shut from the northern flank wall of No. 1 to its junction with Lincoln Road for two days from Thursday.
The alternative route will be via Lincoln Road, Norfolk Road, Northfield Road, Oxford Road; or Lincoln Road, Suffolk Road, Northfield Road and Oxford Road.
Traffic is set to be restricted, as and when directed by signs, from using Harington Terrace N9 from the common boundary of Nos. 33 and 34 to its junction with The Fairway N13 on May 3.
The diversion will be via Harington Terrace, the Fairway, Firs Lane, Hedge Lane, Taplow Road, A10 Great Cambridge Road, Harington Terrace; or A10 Great Cambridge Road, Church Street, A105 Green Lanes, Barrowell Green, Firs Lane, The Fairway.
A two-day closure of Green Road N14 at its junction with Reservoir Road is due to begin on May 10.
Motorists should use Reservoir Road, The Fairway and Green Road while the road is shut.
