A body has been found in a canal in Tottenham.
The Metropolitan Police say they were called out to reports of a body in Tottenham Lock this morning at 9.35am this morning (Thursday August 18).
Police officers, London Ambulance Service, and London Fire Brigade arrived at the scene and established a crime scene.

The body was recovered from the water.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “At this time the man’s death is being treated as unexpected and the circumstances are under investigation.
“A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
“Officers believe they know the identity of the man and enquiries are underway to notify next of kin.”
