Pupils from St Martin of Porres Primary School were in attendance.
General manager Jonathan Wright said: “It’s been a wonderful morning here at the opening of Aldi New Southgate.
“It was lovely to welcome our new customers into store, and I look forward to meeting more of the community in the coming weeks.”
Aldi is open 8am to 10pm on Monday to Saturdays, and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. It can be found at 5 Station Road, New Southgate, N11 1QJ.
