A man was arrested after reports on social media of a “pool of blood” outside a station.
Police were called to White Hart Lane station on Thursday (November 10) after a man was found with a head injury at 4.44am.
The man, 44, is believed to have been assaulted outside the station.
He went to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
Another man, 49, was arrested on suspicion of GBH and was taken to a north London police station where he remains.
Police were seen in the area throughout the day as there were reports on Facebook of “blood” on the ground near the station.
