A rapper returned to his roots as he led an inspirational music masterclass to 150 students.
Tottenham’s Wretch 32, also known as Jermaine Scott, visited Winchmore School in Enfield near to his hometown last Friday (November 25).
The multi-award winning artist who featured in the charts several times led a talk discussing his life and his song writing journey, before being interviewed by two Year 9 students Jack and Amira in front of their classmates.
Students were then tasked to come up to their own lyrics during his surprise masterclass, as they wrote about mental health, the World Cup and future career hopes.
Wretch 32 said: “I didn’t have anyone like me visit when I was in school and so I hope that my visit today has inspired even just one student to believe in their artistry.
"School is such an important time to find out who you are so I hope the students today will take every opportunity to learn and develop themselves.”
