B&Q will be moving to a new unit just before Christmas.
The popular DIY store is taking over the former 53,000 sq ft Toys R Us unit in Enfield Retail Park, Great Cambridge Road – a short distance away from the current Dearsley Road location.
It will open for the first time on December 9 at 8am, featuring 16,000 products in store.
All 90 workers from the current store will retain their job in the transfer to the new B&Q.
Gordon Howes, manager for the Enfield shop, said: “We’re really excited to be moving a few hundred metres – this is an exciting time and we’ll be offering the community a fresh new store.
“My team and I can’t wait to start welcoming customers into our new store.”
It will be open 7am to 8pm on Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
