Eight children and three adults had to flee a house fire that is now under investigation by the police.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters from the London Fire Brigade (LFB) were called to Kimberley Road, Edmonton at 9.45pm on Monday (June 5).
There were no reports of any injuries after three adults and eight children left the building before the Brigade arrived.
The whole of the first floor of the mid-terraced house, and part of the loft, were damaged in the blaze.
Fire crews from Chingford, Enfield, Hornsey, Woodford, Tottenham and Stoke Newington stations had extinguished the fire by 10.16pm.
A LFB spokesperson confirmed that the cause of the blaze is now under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police.
