A man was taken to hospital after being assaulted near the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Emergency services were called at around 7pm on Sunday (August 6) to reports of a man assaulted outside a pub in High Road, Tottenham.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition has now been assessed as not life threatening, Scotland Yard said.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and remains in custody.
Enquiries into the circumstances continue.
Witnesses reported seeing police officers near the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the time and the area was cordoned off.
Another said they drove past the stadium on Monday morning and saw forensic teams in the area.
