Tyler McDermott, aged 17, was shot in Norman Road, Tottenham, on April 13.
He died in hospital the following day.
Det Chf Insp Neil John, who is leading the investigation, said: “Since the day Tyler was killed, we have been using all of the resources we have available to find those responsible for his death.
“We are very keen to speak to the man and woman pictured and would ask anyone who can identify them or provide details of their whereabouts to come forward and speak to us immediately.
“Tyler’s family are understandably bereft at the loss of their much loved son and brother and we are asking for the public’s help in getting them the justice they deserve.”
