A man was jailed for more than five years after being found with a gun and ammunition in his home.
Hamza Ahmed, 26, of Tom Dove Place, in Hampden Lane, Tottenham, was found guilty of gun possession at Wood Green Crown Court on December 1.
He was sentenced to five years and nine months' imprisonment at the same court on the same day.
On June 8, officers from the Met's Specialist Crime Command, helped by armed officers, gained entry into Ahmed's home.
They found a firearm, alongside a magazine with ammunition. Ahmed was arrested at the scene.
The court heard how during the course of the investigation Met officers found a video on Ahmed's phone showing the same firearm.
His DNA was also found on the gun.
