A man was arrested and firearms seized when police went undercover at a market.
White Hart Lane safer neighbourhoods team conducted plain clothes patrols at White Hart Lane market, in Coles Park Stadium, Tottenham, on January 28 after a member of the public raised concerns.
The officers were also aiming to tackle the selling of knives and offensive weapons, the team said on X.
Yesterday, SNT conducted plain clothes patrols at WHL market to tackle the selling of knives and offensive weapons. A male was then arrested for possession of a firearm x2. Forensic officers attended and a further 6 firearms were seized.

A stallholder was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
A further six guns were seized when forensics officers attended, they added.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Following examination, the majority of these have been confirmed not to be genuine.
"Forensic work remains ongoing around one of the items."
The man was taken into custody and later bailed to a date in June.
