Police have made a murder arrest after a man was fatally stabbed in the chest.
Emergency services were called to Worcester Avenue, in Tottenham, at 5.50am on April 7 after a man was found unresponsive.
On arrival they found 46-year-old Okechukwu Iweha, who had stab injuries.
CPR was administered, but despite the efforts of emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Okechukwu’s family continue to be supported by specialist officers from the Metropolitan Police.
A post-mortem held on April 10 at Haringey Mortuary gave his cause of death as a stab wound to chest.
A 28-year-old man was arrested in Croydon on Monday, April 22 on suspicion of murder.
He was taken to a north London police station, where he remains.
On April 10, a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been released with no further action.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil John from the Met's Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation. He said: “While we have made an arrest and our investigation is making good progress, we are still keen to hear form anyone who has information – no matter how small a detail it may seem, please do get in touch."
