A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a pensioner.
Aleks Tsachev, 21, of no fixed address, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Thursday (May 9).
Emergency services were called at about 12.30am on Tuesday (May 7) to reports of a man stabbed at an address on Millicent Grove, in Palmers Green.
A 66-year-old man was found with knife injuries and died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A 16-year-old boy was also found with stab injuries. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Officers are not naming the victim at this time while awaiting confirmation that other family members have been informed.
Both men were known to one another and police are not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident, Scotland Yard said.
Tzachev was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday (May 13).
