An Uber driver may be able to shed light on a crash where a pedestrian died.
Police were called just after 1am on May 12, to a crash between a car and a pedestrian on The Roundway. near the junction with Risley Avenue, in Wood Green.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
Despite their best efforts the pedestrian - a man aged in his 40s - was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Detectives from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command are leading the investigation.
They have been contacted by someone who was travelling in an Uber at the time of the collision.
Detectives need to speak with the driver – who collected a fare at about 12.50am on Walpole Road – as he may have captured the collision on dash cam.
Four men are believed to have been travelling in the car at the time of the collision.
All were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
