Two police officers were taken to hospital after a man was arrested over an alleged sexual assault.
Police were called at 7.50pm on June 26 to reports of a woman being sexually assaulted at an address in Sunnyside Road, Enfield.
A man, aged in his 60s, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, Scotland Yard said.
The Metropolitan Police says two officers were later taken to hospital for treatment to injuries – their conditions are not life threatening. A third officer was injured but did not require hospital treatment.
The man was further arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency services worker.
The woman is being supported by specially trained officers.
The man remains in custody.
Enquiries into the circumstances continue.
