Only open recently, Sandwich Sandwich is often met with long queues as everyone hopes to get a taste of the viral meal.

However, London has more than one to offer when it comes to sandwich shops, including a secret spot in Notting Hill that's not to be missed.

The Secret Sandwich Shop in London that you need to visit

Described as 'London's best-kept food secret', the aptly named 'The Secret Sandwich Shop' serves packed sandwiches all with high-quality ingredients.

Set in a retro speakeasy-like shop, the Notting Hill business creates large sandwiches with prices starting at £9 and rising to £12.

They offer your typical favourites like ham and cheese, tuna mayo and egg salad sandwiches along with some extra special items.

Like the 'Secret Sandwich' made of five seasonal vegetables, avocado, tomato and Kewpie mayo.

Plus, the 7th Avenue is highly rated with Swiss cheese, pastrami, sauerkraut, crispy shallots, pickles, tomato, lettuce, French mustard and Kewpie mayo.

The Secret Sandwich is also not like most of its kind you would find in London, as the business shared that its items are based on a Japanese Wanpaku sandwich.

Explaining: "Wanpaku means cheeky or naughty and that is what our sandwiches are.

"The glorious stacks of colourful layers and varying textures from meat, cheese, eggs, and fresh vegetables, all tucked in the pillowy Japanese bread shokupan, tempting you to take a big bite.
