A man has died and a car driver arrested after a crash outside Wood Green station.
Police were called to reports of a crash in the High Road between a car and a pedestrian just after 4.30pm yesterday afternoon (October 12).
London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene alongside Metropolitan Police.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are working to confirm his identity and inform his next of kin.
The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Anyone who saw what happened, particularly those with dashcam footage, have been urged to call police on 101 quoting reference CAD 5075/12 Oct.
