THE Stepfather of Baby P has reportedly been attacked in prison in Yorkshire.

Steven Barker, is serving an indefinite prison sentence for his role in the abuse of toddler Peter Conolly which lead to his death at their Tottenham home.

The Sun newspaper reported the 6ft 4inch 33-year-old had a mixture of boiling water and sugar thrown at his face by another inmate at the prison in Wakefield.

The mixture is used as the sugar sticks to the skin and intensifies the burn for the victim.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Justice confirmed a prisoner had been treated for injuries.
