A FAN-TASHTIC team of staff at a Haringey primary school has helped raise hundreds of pounds for a cancer charity.
The team of five male teachers, learning mentors, teaching assistants from Stroud Green Primary School, in Woodstock Road, spent the past month growing the facial fuzz as part of the Movember campaign to raise cash and awareness for prostate cancer.
Led by Iain Lock, the team have collectively raised £175 in online donations, but in a final push to reach its £250 target, female members of staff also donned false Hercule Poirot-style moustaches on Thursday, November 30.
