A MAN in the process of becoming a woman will stand trial in July over the death of a transgender Wood Green human rights lawyer at Kings Cross station.
Nina Kanagasingham, 34, of Cricklewood, is charged with murder over the death of David Burgess last October at the station.
Mr Burgess was an internationally acclaimed human rights lawyer working part-time for Luqmani Thompson and Partners, which is based in High Road, at the time of his death.
The 63-year-old was dressed as his alter-ego Sonia when the incident happened.
Mr Kanagasingham is set to stand trial over the death on July 18 at the Old Bailey.
