Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen expects a tough game when Belgium begin their World Cup campaign against Algeria later today.
The 27-year-old could line up alongside fellow Belgian team mates Mousa Dembele and Nacer Chadli, whilst Nabil Bentaleb is in the African's squad.
Vertonghen told the club's website: “I know one or two of their players and where there are Belgian national players who know African players; they always say that the Algerian team is strong.”
He continued: “We have to be careful, but our coaches have analysed them and we’ll be prepared.”
The Group H game kicks off at 5pm, with Russia and South Korea contesting the other match in the group later on.
