The Spurs quartet of Jan Vertonghen, Nacer Chadli, Mousa Dembele and Nabil Bentaleb all started as Belgium came from behind to beat Algeria 2-1 in their World Cup opener.
Belgians Vertonghen, Chadli and Dembele all started for Marc Wilmots' side, who were behind when Bentaleb's Algeria were awarded a penalty for a Vertonghen foul.
Valencia forward Sofiane Feghouli put the north Africans ahead from the penalty spot before the break but Red Devils staged a comeback in the last 20 minutes.
Substitute Marouane Fellaini levelled for Belgium with a head shortly after coming on and with ten minutes remaining, fellow substitute Dries Mertens won the Group H opener.
Mertens had come on in place of Chadli at half-time and Fellaini replaced Dembele with 25 minutes remaining.
However Vertonghen and Bentaleb both completed 90 minutes and both receiving a caution.
