Ecuador striker Enner Valencia has caught the eye of Tottenham Hotspur, who are keen on securing a deal for the forward after the World Cup, according to the Sunday Express.
The 25-year-old has been in impressive form at the finals, scoring three times in two group matches for the South Americans, as well as netting against England in a warm-up fixture before the tournament.
Valencia, who plays his club football for Mexican side Pachuca, scored 18 times in 22 league appearances last term as the Tuzos won the Clausura championship.
The 5ft8 & 1/2in forward has a better than one in two record for Ecuador, having scored seven times in just 12 outings for La Tri.
Born in San Lorenzo, Valencia began his professional career with Ecuadorian club Emelec, before moving to Mexico off the back of 27 league goals in 86 starts.
