Tottenham Hotspur will go head-to-head with north London rivals Arsenal to sign the Ivory Coast’s highly-rated full-back, Serge Aurier, according to the Daily Mail.
Aurier, 21, plays his club football for Ligue 1 side Toulouse but has made a big impact at this summer’s World Cup after providing two assists in the Ivory Coast’s 2-1 win against Japan.
The 5ft9in right-back, who is also attracting the interest of Arsenal and Queens Park Rangers, made 38 appearances for Toulouse last term as they finished ninth in the table.
With ten international caps to his name, Aurier would cost in the region of £7m, according to reports.
