Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris kept a clean sheet as France drew 0-0 with ten-man Ecuador to reach the World Cup second round as group winners.
Les Bleus could not find a way past the impressive Alexander Dominguez in the Ecuador goal.
The point was enough to see Didier Deschamps' side top Group E and set up a round of 16 tie with Nigeria next Monday.
Lloris was relatively untroubled throughout but did get down well on one occasion to block Enner Valencia's header from six yards.
Tottenham's Belgian trio of Jan Vertonghen, Moussa Dembele and Nacer Chadli will hope to be involved in their final Group H match against South Korea on Thursday, whilst Nabil Bentaleb will be keen to feature for Algeria once more as they take on Russia.
The Red Devils have already qualified for the next round, whilst the north African nation can qualify if they equal or better Korea's result.
